y is for yorick whose head was knocked in
new kitty! her name is stella bean, she's ten weeks old, i've had her for 5 days, and she's already getting along with my zachie old fart kitty (who has particularly bad breath today, but i love him anyway). stella bean seems to think she's a vegetarian kitty, she wants to taste everything i'm eating, and has eaten all kinds of weird foods including tofu, seitan, carrots, broccoli, rice, muffins, yogurt, cheese, spinach, bread, and dry granola (so far!) i'm thinking i'll try getting some of that vegetarian kitty kibble and see if she's into it. she's definitely been more into vegetarian-people food than either her science diet kibble or the wet food i've given her so far. so weird. thanks to tobias for coming over this morning and taking digital pictures for me (someday i'll have money to buy a digital camera...)
the american analog set show last week was great. i missed her space holiday due to an over-extended nap, but really enjoyed amanset. they even played a couple of new songs, yay!
<pout> i got into a fender-bender last week. :( totally my fault, too. sucky. i feel like such a bonehead about it. i rear-ended an SUV when it came most unexpectedly to a sudden stop in front of me. at least the driver was very nice, and even said he had expected me to hit him, as the car in front of him had stopped very quickly, and then he'd had to slam on his brakes and barely missed hitting the car in front of him, so then he knew i was going to hit him and basically watched me do it. *sigh* i guess that's what insurance is for - my car is being fixed now, so that's good. </pout>
time for more painting!
