cold weather sucks
i hate winter. the days are too short, and it's either cold, rainy, or cold AND rainy. yuck.
so, when i realized i was about to crack from overworking, i booked myself a last-minute emergency vacation to cancun. the weather was gorgeous - low 80s every day, 70s at night. i stayed at this great hotel right on the beach, away from most of the touristy crap. it had this great upgrade option: for an extra $25/day, they'd feed me all my meals, and i had access to an open bar day and night. of course i went for it. which meant margaritas on the beach!

i also did sand art sculptures every day, which i put up in the sculpture section.
so, it hasn't even been two weeks yet since i got back from my little getaway, but it already feels like it's been months. i really love everything i do, i just wish... there was a bit less of it. work, i mean. i miss sleeping and painting.
